UniCredit Turn-Around Management CEE GmbH (“UCTAM”) is Bank Austria’s Special Assets Holding responsible for gaining control and ownership in pledged assets deriving from defaulted loans (real estate properties or project companies and shareholdings in other companies). It started its operations in 2010 as a proactive response to the economic and financial crisis. Its mission is to rescue valuable assets and projects from bankruptcy, to become temporary owner of properties and equities in order to preserve or increase their value in the medium term by appropriate restructuring measures.
